As we all adjust to the new reality of a post-COVID 19 world the decision to cancel the two tours scheduled for April-May 2020 was forced upon us. The Dutch government has announced that they will hold similar ceremonies next year - not many realize that the Dutch hold large ceremonies only every five years in normal times. So the 75th + 1 tours are planned for Spring 2021. If you missed your chance to sign up, you can join us in 2021.
The larger question as to the impact on travel is yet to be answered. A requirement to self-isolate for 14 days after arrival in any country will make touring impossible, so we must assume that other measures will be in place. Face masks for all? Physical distancing in hotels and restaurants? Will we need to order two buses where one would have been used before? Will the hotels and restaurants we were used to patronizing still be in business? There are many issues to be resolved, but we will forge ahead with plans for future tours.
